Upper Mustang Trek Mustang Regionl — 10 Days/9 Nights
Upper Mustang is Nepal’s trans-Himalayan desert — a former independent kingdom in the rain shadow of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, closed to outsiders until 1992 and still classified as a restricted area today. The trek follows the Kali Gandaki gorge north from Kagbeni into a landscape of wind-carved cliffs, cave dwellings, and centuries-old monasteries, ending at Lo Manthang — the walled former capital, where Tibetan Buddhist culture has been preserved largely undisturbed.
